Construction in Area 43 Shifting to Phase 2

The construction project in Area 43, located south of the Health Education Building – just south of Transverse Drive between Health Center Drive and E. Medical Loop, will shift to Phase 2 next Wednesday, May 31st.

All vehicles must be moved out of Phase 2 (the east side of Area 43) by 12am on Wednesday, May 31, 2023.

Phase 1 (the west side of Area 43) will reopen on Wednesday, May 31st.

Parking area 43 Phasing

During construction, employees and students are encouraged to park as their permits allow in the open section of Area 43 or Areas 42, 44 and 46. Please refer to the light post signs or line colors (yellow or white painted lines) as a secondary reference – green lined spaces are reserved for patient parking only.

Weather permitting, Area 43 will reopen in early August.

If you are a UToledo student or employee with a permit who plans to park in a patient only area, please submit a Parking in Reserved Patient Area Form.

Unless explicitly stated in the article above, please remember all vehicles on campus must be registered with a permit purchased online in advance or by utilizing the ParkMobile App or a parking meter when visiting campus.

Monday through Friday 7AM-10PM
Saturday & Sunday 9AM-5PM

On weekdays from 5PM-7AM and on Saturdays & Sundays, active permits may park in areas designated for other permits. Exceptions include: reserved, disabled, metered, patient and no overnight parking spaces/areas.

Area 1S Closing for Summer Renovations

Parking Area 1S, located east of Health and Human Services on Main Campus, will be closing for construction starting at midnight on Monday, May 29th, 2023.

During the renovation project, employees and students are encouraged to park as their permits allow in Areas 1N, 2, 3, 5, 6 and 10. For additional information on where you may park based on your permit designation, click here.

Please refer to the light post signs or line colors (yellow or white painted lines) in the parking area as a secondary reference.
