On weekdays after 5pm to 7am the following morning, active permits may move around to additional parking areas, as well as Friday after 5pm until 7am on Monday. Exceptions include: Reserved, Disabled, Metered, Patient and No overnight parking areas.
If a snow emergency is declared for Lucas County, ParkUToledo will operate in the following: Level 1 – No change in enforcement or office hours. Level 2 – Violations for view of license plate and for parking over the parking lines will not be enforce, and office hours may vary dependent on weather conditions. Level 3 – ParkUToledo will be closed with no enforcement or office hours.
You may appeal a citation if you feel your vehicle was parked in accordance with UToledo’s parking procedures and, therefore, the ticket was issued in error. Eligible violations must be appealed within 10 calendar days of the issue date.
If the violation can be appealed, students, employees, and affiliates may appeal their parking ticket through their online parking portal.

If you’ve received a parking citation, you can pay through the secure parking portal by logging in to or creating an account.
First, click here to log in to your account.
Enter your Citation Number or Enter your Plate Number and the State, then select Search.
Select the Citation that you want to pay, then select CHECKOUT.
You will then see the citation you are paying. Select the Redirect to Credit Card Payment Site button to be redirected to the payment site for credit card payment. Upon completion, you will be redirected for your receipt.
Please print your receipt to keep for your records.
