DEPARTMENT EVENT PARKING

The ParkUToledo team aims to provide flexibility and convenience while scheduling parking for events on campus. If you are a guest visiting for a special event, please contact the department sponsoring the event to see if they have made special parking arrangements.

Please complete the forms below, as it pertains to your event. Forms must be submitted by an UToledo faculty or staff member.

EVENT PARKING OPTIONS

  • Guests may purchase their own “C” daily permit for $5.75/day by registering their vehicle with ParkUToledo.com, ParkMobile or by paying a parking meter.
  • Departments may issue their guests “A” departmental permits while on campus for $5.75/day. If you do not have an active department portal please fill out the Department Guest Parking Request form.
    • Annual department permits are also available, please email info@parkutoledo.com for more information.
  • A suspension of ticketing can be requested during the event meaning that parking permits would not be required. It will be the responsibility of the event organizer to ensure guests park in the approved areas. Vehicles not parked in the approved areas are expected to have the appropriate permit for that area. Citations will not be waived for parking in a different location that the approved locations. The event organizer would be responsible for the cost of the suspension of ticketing.
    • During peak hours (Monday – Thursday 7am – 4pm) requests can only be submitted for Areas 18, 19, 20, 25, 43, 44 or 46.
    • If an event occurs after 4pm or on Friday, Saturday or Sunday other parking areas around campus may be requested.
    • Events falling into this category require at least a 72-hour notice to provide time for the request to be reviewed.
    • Please review the applicable charges prior to submitting the request form.
  • A virtual event parking registration link can be created for event parking. The requesting department will get a specialized link for their parking event for guests to register for daily “A” permits on their own. The event organizer will be sent a link to forward to guests where they can input their own vehicle information. Guest license plates must be entered correctly or they will be ticketed.
    • Permits purchased through the virtual event parking registration link will be $5.75 per vehicle.
    • In addition to the per vehicle charge, there will be a $75 administrative fee charged to the event organizer.
  • Event organizers may request that a certain area or amount of parking spaces are blocked off for their guests. Spaces will be blocked off by a ParkUToledo employee. It will be the responsibility of the event organizer to ensure guests park in the approved areas.
    • Event organizers can request reserved spaces in Areas 4, 12W, 18, 20, 25, 43, 44 or 46.
    • If an event occurs after 4pm or on Friday, Saturday or Sunday other parking areas around campus may be requested.
    • Events falling into this category require at least a 10-day notice so that we can prepare the proper staffing levels.
    • In addition to the per space charge, there will be a $21/hour charge to staff the parking area for a minimum of four hours. There will also be a $125 administrative fee added to the event total.

Please contact the ParkUToledo office at events@parkutoledo.com at least 10 days in advance to determine appropriate parking for your event. Please be mindful that parking may not be adjacent to the event location.
