Student Semester Permits on Sale August 12

Student semester parking permits for the 2022-23 school year will be available for purchase in your parking portal starting Friday, August 12, 2022. Student permits are $133 per semester, with the option to purchase a fall/spring semester permit for $266. Daily and monthly permits are also available for purchase in your parking portal. Area 44 Shifts to Phase 2

Renovations on parking Area 44 located near the Collier Building on the University of Toledo’s Health Science Campus will transition to phase 2 on Thursday, July 21. During the second phase of construction, Ravine Drive along with the North section of the area will close (see map below). Area 42A Renovation Begins Mid-July

Area 42A, located along Hospital Drive on Health Science Campus, will close in mid-July for repaving and restriping. Once completed, the area will have a new, more efficient traffic flow pattern. “We are removing the deadends at the parking bollards in Area 42A as we restripe so permit holders will have a much easier time getting in and out of their parking spaces,” said Sherri Kaspar, executive director of ParkUToledo. Parking Updates for 2022-23 School Year

Faculty/staff permits for the 2022-23 school year go on sale Tuesday, July 19, 2022. “A” annual permits are $259 for the 2022-23 school year, with “A” semester permits available for $86. “As we close the gap between employees and students, parking at The University of Toledo remains comparable to institutions across Ohio and the Midwest,” said Sherri Kaspar, executive director of ParkUToledo. Parking in Patient Areas

Employees, students and affiliates parking on The University of Toledo Health Science and Main Campuses now have the option to register to park in patient parking areas for periods when they’ll be on site as a patient. Click here to submit an optional form to park as a patient. Forms must be submitted prior to the visit. Once a permit holder concludes their time as a patient, they are expected to move their vehicle to the appropriate parking area as designated by their individual permits. Area 44 Closing in Phases for Renovations, Starting Sunday, June 12

Parking Area 44 located near the Collier Building on the University of Toledo’s Medical Campus will be closed in phases for repaving and repairs, starting at 8pm on Sunday, June 12. “Once Area 44 reopens prior to the fall semester, permit holders will see a noticeable difference in the quality of this surface lot,” said Sherri Kaspar, executive director of ParkUToledo. Construction Starting on Area 1N

On Wednesday, June 1, 2022, parking area 1N will be closed for renovation. The area is expected to reopen in early July. “The ParkUToledo team is excited for the improvements to area 1N,” said Sherri Kaspar, executive director of ParkUToledo. “We’re removing all of the parking bollards and leveling the area for a more functional parking experience.” All permit holders that typically park in area 1N are encouraged to park in areas 1S and 2 (highlighted on map above). Parking Area 26 Undergoing Renovations

Starting Monday, May 9th, parking area 26 located next to the University Health Center on main campus will be closed for renovations.  “The area 26 renovation is our first of five major parking construction projects we’ll be completing this summer,” said Sherri Kaspar, executive director of ParkUToledo.  “We’re essentially rebuilding the parking area from the ground up. As we approach the end of the school year, spring semester parking permits will expire on Friday, May 13. Summer permits are now on sale. Each summer permit is $132.99. Please visit the ParkUToledo parking portal to purchase. Residential Move out and Commencement Parking Information There will be no permits needed to park on the University of Toledo campus from Saturday, April 30, through Sunday, May 8, due to campus move out and commencement. Exceptions include:  reserved, disabled, metered, patient and no overnight parking areas. Parking areas 5 and 6 are recommended for graduating students.
